Business Development Manager

About the Role

Drive ANED's growth across African markets. Build relationships with enterprises, governments, and organizations, understanding their technology needs and positioning ANED as their partner.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Africa
  • Build relationships with enterprise clients and government agencies
  • Develop proposals and respond to RFPs
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals
  • Collaborate with technical teams on solution design
  • Attend industry events and conferences across Africa
  • Manage pipeline and provide sales forecasts
  • Develop market entry strategies for new African markets

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years business development or sales experience
  • Experience in technology services or consulting
  • Strong network in African enterprise or government sectors
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Track record of closing deals worth $100K+
  • Understanding of technology services and solutions
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Africa
  • Fluency in English; additional African languages a plus

Nice to Have

  • Existing relationships in target markets
  • Experience with government procurement processes
  • MBA or equivalent business education
  • Knowledge of technology procurement in African markets
