Founded in 2024, the ANED East Africa Center is the beating heart of the ANED Center network. Headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, and with operations spanning Rwanda, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Uganda, our engineers design, build, and scale software solutions for clients across the region and globally, working across fintech, healthtech, agritech, logistics, and government digitization.

East Africa's engineering community is one of the fastest-growing on the continent. ANED has been part of that growth, recruiting from top universities across Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Uganda, building apprenticeship pipelines, and investing in a culture where engineers stay because they grow. Our retention rate of 87% since inception is testament to that culture.

Our core capabilities span full-stack engineering, cloud and DevOps, AI/ML, fintech platforms, government systems, and mobile-first development. The primary tech stack includes React, Node.js, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, AWS, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes, chosen for reliability, scalability, and alignment with the infrastructure realities of African markets.
